Every so often we devote our attention to some of the changes that have occurred around BBC&B:
- Walt Reed has joined us in our estate planning and administration department. Walt brings with him a high level of expertise in planning estates of all sizes, with special emphasis on the unique issues facing larger estates. For more about Walt, see the article on page 3.
- Leslie Heffernen, who had been handling our estate practice until recently, has departed in order to spend more time with her growing family. Daughter Mia was born last fall, leaving Leslie with her hands more than full. She is continuing to practice law from home on a part-time basis and we look forward to working with her in the future.
- Karen Peterson, our controller, is expecting her third child in September. Stay tuned for more news on this developing front.
- Sadly, as many of our readers know, Ken Butera’s mother, Anne, passed away in May at the age of 101. Mrs. Butera led an extraordinary life and left behind a large and thriving family spanning three subsequent generations.
