Closing In On Ten Years

It is hard for us to believe, but this issue marks the final issue of our tenth year of publishing the BBC&B Law Update.  In the beginning we weren’t sure how the Law Update would be received, but readership and client response over the years has continued to grow, making this an extremely rewarding endeavor.  Over 1,500 copies are mailed each issue.

Here is a look back at an article we ran at the end of our first year, 1996; you could literally change the dates and the article would apply equally as well today:

Law Update Marks Its First Year

The Butera, Beausang, Cohen & Brennan Law Update was but a twinkle in our eye at the end of 1995.  This is our sixth and final issue for calendar year 1996, and it has been a wonderful year for the Law Update; hopefully the content and quality of this publication continue to improve.

At the outset, our aim was to provide clients and friends of the Firm with topical, concise and well-reading articles from the legal arena.  If client response is any indication, we accomplished our goal.  Through the various issues, we have solicited your input, comments and suggestions, and over the course of the first year have subtly adjusted our format and approach.  We hope the evolution of the Law Update meets with your approval and expectations.

The Law Update was an experiment, and we are happy to report that the experiment is a success.  It is our sincere hope that the Law Update will continue to grow both in meaningful content and circulation and we extend our heartfelt thanks for the input and encouragement received from our clients and friends as this project has matured.  We look forward to a challenging and informative 1997!

And we look forward to a challenging and rewarding 2006!
